From Bodrum İ was onto Ephesus one of the most excavated of the Greco-Roman world and a cıty well worth a vısıt. İ spent 5 nıght ın Kusadasi a beautıful port cıty nearby. Then it was a flight to Istanbul to meet Rauny a travel companion from 09 who I had met in Panama and traveled with a bit there with her husband and a friend.
In Istanbul we visited the Blue Mosque Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, each amazing in their own right. To relax after all those hours of walking we went to a very old and traditional Turkish bath. Relaxing, painful, and fun.
Then on to Cappadocia and all the fairy chimney's, underground cities, and ancient churches. Rauny and I slept in a cave hotel made from fairy chimney's. Hard to believe many people until about 50 years ago made these their homes.
So we have experienced some really unique sites. We have met mainly very friendly and helpful people. The variety of foods we have enjoyed way to much.
So soon we leave Cappadocia for more Turkish fun.
